The Brief History of Jyasa Samtenling Nyingmapa Monastery in Nepal
Lama Kunsang Jampal's son Pema Sang Ngag Tenzin and his son Tinchen Ratna Tsewang saw a holy vision of a magnificent place of meditation was meaning fully named Jyasa (Rainbow land) Samtenling (Valley of meditation) gradually Tinchen Ratna Tsewang elder son and Tinchen Ratna Bhatta and younger son Kyabdhak Dhondhen and grand son Tinchen Gurmey Dorjee occupied the seat one after another and propagated the ancient school of Tibetan Buddhism .At present Lama Nyima Sangpo Rinpoche who is going to continue the work of his predecessors.The cathedral has ground floor and first with another small room at the top of the building .The length of this building 42ft and the breath is 33ft In the front of this building there is three storied monks hostel .In this middle there is an open space for the performance of a ritual dance on auspicious occasions. The first floor of the cathedral house the statue of Lord Buddha flanked by Shriputra and Mogulputra statue of Tinchen Ratna Tsewang and Ratna Bhatta;the mummy of Kyabdhak karma Dhodhen ;the statue of Tinchen Gurmey Dorjee and the three holy letters Om- AH-HUNG which were born out of the bone of Tinchen Ratna Tsewang Rinpoche .In this storey there are the scripture and the printing blocks of sharter,uter .There is the holy book Rinchen Ter ,Dzo the costumes of black hat dance the eight manifestation of Guru Rinpoche and other innumerable religious objects both old and new. This monastery was established two hundred years ago .This monastery has about 35 sister monasteries .In this main monastery 10th of every Tibetan month is observed .On auspicious days holy feast is observed. Annual on the 9th and 10th of ninth Tibetan month the ritual dance of the manifestation of the eight Guru Rinpoche is performed and 11th the long life initiation is granted to the public.
